Hi. I'm Flora and I started Violet and Percy in October 2013. After being a stay-at-home mum for eleven years and finding myself with some free time once my youngest started secondary school, it was time for a new challenge.

What started as a small idea to open an online shop which incorporated my love of style, photography and interiors soon became a success and an absolute passion of mine.

I am a 'one woman band' in the truest sense and do everything myself - from packing up orders to designing my website (I've even taught myself to code!).

I love sourcing beautiful homewares and gifts, and designing my own range of prints, clothing and candles. My mantra has always been that I'll only stock products that I'd have in my home or give to a best friend as a gift.

I also regularly put together a newsletter called The Lie In which is delivered direct to your inbox with my personal recommendations of podcasts, clothes, food, tv and so much more. You can sign up here if that sounds like your cup of tea!

You are more than welcome to return all or part of your order within 21 days of the date on your invoice.

• The product must be in new condition in the original packaging.
• All return costs are payable by the customer unless the item returned is in a faulty condition or an incorrect item was received. 

Transport Damage:  If the product is lost or you, upon receiving, notice that the item has been damaged during transport, you should immediately report this to us.

By placing an order at Violet and Percy, you warrant that you are at least 18 years old (or have parents' permission to buy from us) and accept these terms & conditions which shall apply to all orders placed or to be placed at Violet and Percy for the sale and supply of any products. Force Majeure

Events outside Violet and Percy's control, which is not reasonably foreseeable, shall be considered force majeure, meaning that Violet and Percy is released from Violet and Percy's obligations to fulfill contractual agreements. Example of such events are government action or omission, new or amended legislation, conflict, embargo, fire or flood, sabotage, accident, war, natural disasters, strikes or lack of delivery from suppliers. The force majeure also includes government decisions that affect the market negatively and products, for example, restrictions, warnings, ban, etc.

 

Payment

All products remain Violet and Percy's property until full payment is made. The price applicable is that set at the date on which you place your order. Shipping costs and payment fees are recognised before confirming the purchase. If you are under 18 years old you must have parents' permission to buy from Violet and Percy.

All transfers conducted through Violet and Percy are handled and transacted through third party dedicated gateways to guarantee your protection. Card information is not stored and all card information is handled over SSL encryption. Please read the terms & conditions for the payment gateway chosen for the transaction as they are responsible for the transactions made.

 

Local Taxes

Please note that local charges (sales tax, customs duty) may occur, depending on your region and local customs duties. These charges are at the customers own expense.

Violet and Percy reserves the right to amend any information, including but not limited to prices, technical specifications, terms of purchase and product offerings without prior notice. At the event of when a product is sold out, Violet and Percy has the right to cancel the order and refund any amount paid in the best way. Violet and Percy shall also notify the customer of equivalent replacement products if available.
