Blue Monday High Street Style

Blue Monday – the most depressing day of the year (apparently). All due to a combination of dismal factors like weather conditions, debt level, the time since Christmas, failing our new year’s resolutions, low motivational levels and a feeling of a need to take action.

But let’s turn this on its head. January for me is a wonderful time for new beginnings, a fresh resolve, getting rid of the old, a comfort in knowing the days are getting longer and a looking forward to spring.

With this in mind I thought I’d make some kind of metaphorical leap and show you what is new to the high street – something else I get excited about at this time of year. But forget my usual reliance on blacks and shades of grey – I have found the most gorgeous blues for you.
