Flying Sauce at Giffords Circus

"We have a set price three-course meal for £20 per person that can be collected from Fennells Farm near Stroud and taken home to warm up and enjoy"  - Executive Head Chef, Ols Halas

Roll up, roll up! If you've been missing your Giffords fix this year then I've got good news! You can now eat the most delicious Circus Sauce meals in the comfort of your own home. With new menus each week, it's as easy as ordering online, picking a collection time (4-6pm on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays) and re-heating your dinner at home at your own convenience.

We drove out to Fennells Farm and collected ours on Saturday and even the weather couldn't dampen the experience, as you drive up to the Circus Sauce tent in your car and Ols, the chef, runs out with your bag of goodies - like a rustic drive-thru!

The re-heating is quick and hassle free and the food was so delicious - the best banoffee pie ever (check it out in the cook book).

Here's the menu for Week One (up to 4th July)

* Deep fried colcannon with local cheddar and soured cream (v)

* Braised shin of beef with hazelnuts and sticky dates, root vegetable gratin and farm shop greens

or

* Stuffed Savoy cabbage with wild mushrooms and fired nettles (v)

* Tweedy’s salted caramel banoffee pie

The menus change each week and I particularly love the sound of Week Three's Ethiopian feast which is inspired by former Giffords Circus performers, Bibi and Bichu.

In addition to the three course set menus, pizza nights start on July 7th.

Just drop in between 4pm and 8pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays to order and collect your freshly cooked, homemade pizza.
