My Pick: Checked Shirts

When I was a student (many years ago!) I found the most gorgeous checked flannel shirt in a charity shop in Reading. It was a soft brushed cotton with pearly poppers and I lived in it - in fact I wore it until it was threadbare and I had to throw it away - so I'm loving the re-surgence of over-sized checked shirts this season. They're such a great thing to layer over a polo neck or slogan t-shirt or even under a baggy sweatshirt.
I've found some lovely ones online and although I'd thought I'd wanted a classic black and white one, I'm now thinking that I quite fancy that yellow Superdry one!
