My Pick: Striped Shirt Dresses

Stripes are everywhere this season and this is good news for a long-term, hardened stripe fan like me. I've always had a thing for the breton top - in fact when I had scuba diving lessons (don't ask) a lifetime ago, the teacher nicknamed me 'Stripes' because I turned up every week in a different one.

What I'm loving in the high street shops now though is the striped shirt dress. It really is a classic staple that everyone should have at least one of. So easy (and comfortable) to wear and the perfect amount of coverage for our rather temperamental weather. I love teaming them up with a pair of sandals and oversized straw bag but they look just as good with a pair of white trainers or ankle boots.
