Heatwave incoming! I repeat, heatwave incoming! But if you're horrified by the thought of having to pull on a flower printed, pastel shaded sun dress then don't panic, I've got the answer for all you (fellow) monochrome lovers - my selection of the best BLACK sundresses. You can always add a pair of yellow rimmed sunglasses, red sandals or rainbow striped beach bag if you feel that you want a splash of colour.

I know it's obvious but black really does go with everything and can look chic for an evening out or unfussy for a day on the beach. Just throw your hair up into a messy bun (if it's long enough), bung some gold hoops on and grab a straw bag and I defy anyone to not look put together!
